Creative Character Online Art Class

This is a 5 day live online digital art course geared towards teaching kids and teens the basics of creating and designing a digital character from scratch. (The class is designed for kids and teens to follow but you are welcome join as an adult, you will definitely still learn)

When: March 7th-11th from 6:00pm-8:00pm EST

Each class is about 2 hours a day for 5 days.

It will be taught live via Zoom

The class will cover:

*How to format digital illustrations for print and social media

*How to structure a character’s face and body.

*How to digitally color characters

*How to choose appealing color palettes

*How to draw and design character clothing

*How to turn completed artwork into stickers to sell (or just share with friends)

This is a digital art course so a drawing tablet and stylus is required however students do not have to have the exact same device and program as me.

I will be using a 12.9 inch iPad pro and the 2nd Generation Apple pencil.

The drawing program I’ll be using is “Procreate” (it is $9.99 in the Apple Store)

For Class Students Will Need:

Drawing Tablet (Preferably Apple Tablet)

Drawing Stylus (preferably Apple Pencil)

Drawing Program ( preferably Procreate)

Smartphone or Device to watch Zoom class
